Plants with inflorescence 40-50 cm tall or more. Rhizome tuberous, horizontal, 3-5 cm long, 4-8 mm thick, with several nodes.
Leaves grass-like, chartaceous, linear, 10-50 cm long, 8 mm wide, apex acuminate, gradually narrowed at base, plicate.
Peduncle erect, 40-50 cm tall, with several sheaths in lower part, sheaths pale brown, narrowly lanceolate to linear, 3-8 cm long, reducing in size upward; bracts erect or ascending, lanceolate to linear, 1-5 cm long, acuminate, lower ones longer; pedicel and ovary 8-10 mm long, short hirsute. Flowers ca. 15, yellowish or straw color, pendulous, perianth not widely spreading; sepals oblong, 10-12 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, acute, shortly hirsute abaxially; petals spatulate, 11 mm long, 2.5 mm wide, sparsely hirsute abaxially; lip obovate, ca. 9 –10 mm long, 8 mm wide when expanded, narrowed at base and decurrent into basal sac, gradually broadened upward into 3-lobed lamina, lateral lobes broadly falcate, 3.5 mm long, 3 mm wide, central lobe rectangular, 4 mm long, 3 mm wide, mucronate, ciliate, disc grooved longitudinally, with papillae around groove and arranging into 3-5 series of small rugose ridges running from base to apex of central lobe; column 6 mm long, sparsely hairy below; anther nearly semispherical, pubescent outside.
